NCW WrestleFest VII Saturday November 19th
On Saturday night November 19th Northeast Championship Wrestling returns to its home base of operations at the Jacob Jones VFW Post [84 Eastern Avenue] in Dedham, MA for the final event of NCW’s 2011 wrestling season—WrestleFest VII.
Competing in a seasonal format from the months of February through November, Northeast Championship Wrestling presents a unique night of entertainment wherever it goes, bringing forth its larger than life characters, incredible athleticism, and a one of a kind experience for people of all ages. Our family-friendly wrestling events have been promoted all throughout New England for the last 14 years, integrating itself into the community while preparing to celebrate our 15year anniversary next Season.
It was at the beginning of the NCW 2011 Season when “The Antisocial Anarchist” Tim Kilgore first approached Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley about getting one final Heavyweight Title Match before he retired from the ring. At the time, Livsley stated that Kilgore hadn’t done anything to earn a shot at the Championship besides be a cocky and arrogant troublemaker. While this all took place behind the scenes, Kilgore aired his greivances in the open at NCW Spring Slam, where “The Antisocial Anarchist” Tim Kilgore attacked “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello, staking claim to Batello’s Heavyweight Title. Coming face to face with Livsley, Kilgore promised to go through the entire roster and would EARN an opportunity to wrestle Batello in his final match. From that point “The Antisocial Anarchist” began clawing his way through the competition, picking up impressive victories over the likes of Taka Suzuki, Eddie Loomis, & his former bodyguard Larry Huntley, proving for once that his word was good for something.
Buddy Romano began the 2011 year without focus, after losing the NCW Tag Team Championship back to Generation SLAM at the end of the previous Season. But then Romano crossed paths with “Dynamite” Doug Summers and everything changed for Romano. He once again had purpose. Buddy then challenged Summers to a Best of 7 Series, a perfect opportunity to prove he was not only the better wrestler, but the smarter wrestler as well. Both men engaged in a brutal war, pulling out all the stops and giving everything they had to see who the better man was. After splitting the Series 3-3, an epic 7th match took place at NCW FACE/OFF with Romano fighting off every move of Summers before finally falling to Doug’s own variation of the dangerous “vertabreaker”.
In September, the NCW landscape changed forever when “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello vacated the Heavyweight Championship due to an attack by Scotty “By GOD” Vegas, putting him on the injured list indefinitely. While the Title would be put up for grabs in the 2011 Big City Rumble, everything Tim Kilgore had worked for was lost. With his dream of wrestling Ruy Batello at WrestleFest was gone, he offered to enter the Big City Rumble at #1, going through the entire roster and win the NCW Title the right way.
Dean “The Beast” accepted Tim’s offer, and in Dedham MA Kilgore did exactly as he said by going through the entire NCW roster before getting screwed over by Buddy Romano, David Marxxx-Loomis, & “The Showoff” Mike Paiva, costing Kilgore the Heavyweight Title and reforming Zero Tolerance in the process.
At NO FEAR Kilgore and Doug Summers competed in a grueling #1 Contenders Match which saw Tim pull off the amazing upset, pinning “Dynamite” after slipping into the ‘clean sweep’ out of nowhere. Before the match Summers said it best when he said that he saw a fire in Tim that he hadn’t seen in years, and that was because for once Kilgore was fighting for someone other than himself– his daughter.
And so on his daughter’s fourth birthday November 19th at WrestleFest VII Tim Kilgore will step into the ring for his final match against Buddy Romano, a man with only one focus in sight now, keeping his NCW Championship at any cost regardless the dreams of a Father and his child.
Richard Pacifico and “The Monster” Cenobite know each other very well. It was in 2008 just a year after Pacifico made his comeback to NCW that he crossed paths with “The Monster”, eliminating him from the 2008 Big City Rumble. Cenobite, who had just won the New England Championship earlier in the night against Evan “Hawkeye” Hunter, returned to the ring following his elimination and decimated Pacifico with a steel chain, brutalizing him.
Thus began a vicious rivalry which culminated at WrestleFest IV that year, in a Boston Massacre Match that saw both men destroy each other along with Pacifico’s girlfriend Kate and Rob Impact all getting involved in the melee and changed forever by the encounter.
In the three years that has followed “The Monster” has evolved from the soulless beast, with the revelation that he is the tormented alter-ego of former NCW Tag Team Champion Mike Volpe. Uniting with “The Knight Angel” BerZerker as Heaven’s Fury, Cenobite has become one of NCW’s most popular competitors. While most have forgiven Cenobite for his past actions due to his mental state, one man couldn’t let it go.
During the off-season Pacifico and his protege Brandon Rezner secretly assaulted “The Monster” Cenobite, forcing him into hiding and stealing his mask. Believing he had fooled everyone while The BerZerker searched out the attacker, NCW’s camera girl Amanda accidentally overheard Pacifico on the phone with Rezner, revealing his true nature. Forcing his hand, Pacifico attacked Amanda and The BerZerker at NCW Payback, heralding the return of Cenobite himself.
Despite Cenobite’s return and Amanda’s evolution into Valkyrie, Pacifico & Rezner have continued to stalk Cenobite & Valkyrie, fracturing Heaven’s Fury for good at NCW FACE/OFF when Pacifico obliterated “The Knight Angel” with a steel chair following their singles match. With everything Cenobite/Volpe has gained over the last three years at stake “The Monster” has once again challenged Pacifico to the Boston Massacre, looking to finally end the war that’s been raging inside the mind of Richard since WrestleFest IV.
When JC Marxxx announced the impending return of Zero Tolerance at the beginning of the 2011 Season, he had no idea that the NCW 2010 Rookie of the Year Eddie Loomis would show up to mess all his plans up. During an impromptu match between the Loomis Brothers made by newly minted Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley, Eddie inadvertantely injured David’s shoulder, putting him on the disabled list for nearly seven months.
When David returned to action at NCW FACE/OFF he quickly singled out his little brother, utilizing the assistance of “The Showoff” Mike Paiva and “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger to take down the younger Loomis. With the emergence of Zero Tolerance now in effect, Eddie’s been forced to watch his back even more although he’s been able to get the better of David at every turn.
After storming the ring to assist “The Monster” Cenobite at NO FEAR against David, his adopted father JC Marxxx took a bold step afterward challenging Eddie to a Best 2 Out of 3 Falls Match November 19th at WrestleFest, giving his son the perfect chance to get himself back on track.
First and foremost DUI had an open contract to defend their Championship against anyone for November 19th at WrestleFest, giving ZT the perfect opportunity to collect all the Championships in the promotion. Second was the fact that the only person that could have challenged DUI, their former partner Anthony Stone, was taken care of by William Thorne & Kellan Thomas following NCW NO FEAR, when DUI got some of their own revenge on their old friend.
With Paiva now mentoring the cocky Kevin Cordeiro, Livsley agreed to the Tag Team Championship Match under one condition…
GA is better than this. GA West is “Simply the Best”. These are the statements members of the Firm tell their leader at every turn after the last few months of losses began to pile up for the former Osirus.
Though he came up short against NCW Champion Ruy Batello in his first match of the 2011 Season, it was the shocking upset by “The Juice” JT Dunn that began to shatter the massive ego of “Simply the Best”. Since then GA has been petitioning to get one more match with Dunn, proving that the original loss was a fluke. At NCW FALLOUT West got his chance, only to come up short once again despite his best efforts.
JT’s only advice in order to get one more match was simply ‘win’. At NO FEAR GA finally got his win thanks to the assitance of “Big” Dave and Doc Ozone, using their help to defeat Triplelicious by not only holding his feet down but also grabbing a handful of tights. A win is a win however, as West immediately went to Commissioner Livsley demanding a rematch against Dunn. “The Beast” relented, and the match has been made for WrestleFest in Dedham, the venue where everything began.
“The Maniacal” Jack Krueger has had only one goal throughout the 2011 Season, and that’s prove himself to JC Marxxx while joining Zero Tolerance in the process. Krueger was willing to sacrifice his friends and family to achieve this goal and after being ignored by Marxxx and company following ZT’s formation at FACE/OFF, Krueger will have the ultimate opportunity to prove himself worthy at WrestleFest when he challenges “Dynamite” Doug Summers to a singles match one on one.
While Doug nearly became the #1 Contender after having a hell of a match against Tim Kilgore at NO FEAR, the former Heavyweight Champion has been a consistent thorn in the side of the current NCW Champion Buddy Romano, giving “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger perfect incentive to destroy Romano’s rival permanently.
On November 19th it will be time to crown another Season Cup winner, the fourth time this match will have taken place since the establishment of a Season format during the 2007-2008.
While Steve “The Turtle” Weiner has been the first Season Cup winner to actively defend his “Championship” during the 2011 Season, “The Turtle” was shell-shocked recently by Michael Tootsie Esquire who stole the Cup from Weiner at NCW FALLOUT. Weiner now enters the 2011 Cup with one goal in mind, destroying the obnoxious MTE.
