NCW Eye of the Hurricane Results!

NCW EYE OF THE HURRICANEbrought Northeast Championship Wrestling back to the West Warwick Elks Lodge in West Warwick, RI, a makeup event after NCW’s West Warwick event in August was canceled due to Hurriance Irene.

Venue: West Warwick Elks Lodge
Ring Announcer: Shane “Sipowicz” Daly
Referee: Red Roche

- Anthony Stone d. Triplelicious in the opener, upsetting the four time former NCW Heavyweight Champion.

- NCW Ring Announcer Shane Daly introduced the new Heavyweight Champion Buddy Romano to the ring, as Romano gloated to the West Warwick fans while adorning his new Championship belt. Buddy told everyone he would do it, but he couldn’t have done it without the “support” of his new family– bringing David Marxxx-Loomis, the NCW New England Champion “The Showoff” Mike Paiva, & JC Marxxx out to the ring with him.

Marxxx said that a plan was put into place seven months ago to bring the NCW Championship back home, but thanks to Eddie Loomis injuring David’s shoulder, that plan was put on hold. The 2011 Big City Rumble everything came together, and while David was eliminated by JT Dunn, JC was proud to see Romano crowned the new Champion. Before JC could continue “The Antisocial Anarchist” Tim Kilgore hit ringside, ready to pounce in the ring. Kilgore said he wasn’t stupid enough to jump into a 3 on 1 fight, but promised to take out each member of JC’s new family.

Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley then came out, and told Tim that he did earn the right to be NCW Champion, but he would have to win one more match to earn the Title opportunity when he challenges “Dynamite” Doug Summers (the man who beat Romano in the Best of 7 Series in Dedham) in a #1 Contenders Match October 29th in Brockton, MA at NO FEAR. The winner would then go on to challenge Romano for the Heavyweight Championship November 19th at WrestleFest VII. Dean then told Romano he’d be in singles action in West Warwick however, taking on young Eddie Loomis. While JC laughed at the prospect of Loomis/Romano, the 2010 Rookie of the Year came in from behind, pouncing off the top rope and onto Paiva, Marxxx-Loomis, & Romano until the numbers game got the better of him. Livsley then interjected to help, only to get the better end of Buddy’s Heavyweight Title. Finally, Kilgore came to the aid of Dean & Eddie, forcing the Champion and company to retreat from the ring.

- Brandon Rezner w/ Pacifico d. “The Monster” Cenobite w/ Valkyrie by Disqualification after Cenobite used his chain to destroy Pacifico’s young protege.

- NCW New England Champion “The Showoff” Mike Paiva d. Kevin Cordeiro to retain the New England Title in a great match, which saw Cordeiro nearly win the Championship after Keith Hayes showed up at ringside to stop Paiva from using his belt (referee Red Roche was knocked out of action for the moment), and ended up walloping Paiva with the Championship belt himself. After a very close near-fall, “The Showoff” was able to hit ‘the sleazeball special’ to pick up the victory.

- The Granite State Wrecking Crew (“The Unequaled One” Todd Sople & “The Granite State Destroyer” Gunar Rowe) d. the NCW Tag Team Champions Destruction Under Impact (“Impact” William Thorne & “The RIOT” Kellan Thomas) via Disqualification after Anthony Stone intervened in the match, costing the Wrecking Crew their opportunity to become Tag Team Champions. Stone once again motioned for his opportunity to wrestle DUI for the Tag Team Titles, with him being the one to dethrone his former partners, no one else.

- The Timber Wolves (The Lumberjake & Derrik Andrews) d. Steve “The Turtle” Weiner in a Handicap Match, after Weiner had originally challenged Michael Tootsie Esquire to regain possession of Weiner’s 2010 Season Cup. Instead of MTE however, the massive duo of Lumberjake & Andrews joined the scene stating that MTE decided to take the night off, and hired these two behemoths to cut down “The Turtle”. Weiner agreed to take both men on, and despite a valiant effort came up short against the NCW rookies.

- “The Antisocial Anarchist” Tim Kilgore d. “Simply the Best” GA West w/ the Firm.

- NCW Heavyweight Champion Buddy Romano and Eddie Loomis went to a No Contest when David Marxxx-Loomis ran in to attack his younger brother. Dean “The Beast” returned to the ring, and told Buddy that he wasn’t finished tonight, and would have to face off against not only Eddie Loomis, but also Tim Kilgore in a tag team match with David Marxxx-Loomis!

- “The Antisocial Anarchist” Tim Kilgore & Eddie Loomis d. NCW Heavyweight Champion Buddy Romano & David Marxxx-Loomis w/ JC Marxxx, when Kilgore defeated Romano with ‘the clean sweep’.
