NCW FACE/OFF Results from 9/23!
Venue: The Jacob Jones VFW Post
Ring Announcer: Shane “Sipowicz” Daly
Commentators: CJ Higgins & “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello
Referees: Red Roche & Glen Jacobs
- NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley opened up the event, welcoming everyone to Dedham and recapping the events of the previous week and the status of the NCW Heavyweight Championship. Livsley then introduces the former NCW Champion, “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello! Batello thanks the fans for their support, and promises to be back in action as soon as possible. Tonight, he wants to see who will walk away as the new NCW Champion, and joins CJ Higgins at ringside to commentate the event.
- “The Juice” JT Dunn w/ Amber d. “The Antisocial Anarchist” Tim Kilgore in a match that really saw the fans get behind Kilgore, the most unlikely of fan favorites. Agreeing to go #1 in the 2011 Big City Rumble, the usually cocky and arrogant “Anarchist” found himself humbled against Dunn, the rising star looking to make an impact. Following the match Dunn even gave his respect to Kilgore, based on the match the two just had with each other.
- “The Barrington Bulldozer” John Munroe d. “Chaotic” Chris James
- The Granite State Wrecking Crew (“The Unequaled One” Todd Sople & “The Granite State Destroyer” Gunar Rowe) d. Kevin Cordeiro & Taka Suzuki, as Sople & Rowe continue to single out the young Cordeiro when his regular tag team partner Rob the Giant is MIA.
- Anthony Stone and DUI’s “Impact” William Thorne went to a double count out, as Stone continued his quest to embarrass his former Destruction Under Impact partners. Stone also eluded to wanting a Tag Team Championship opportunity, challenging DUI to a match at WrestleFest VII.
- “Dynamic” Jon Thornhill returned to NCW after a five month absence, defeating “Simply the Best” GA West (w/ the Firm) in a great back and forth match up. West, continuing his mounting frustration over his recent losing streak and unluckiness against “The Juice” JT Dunn, promised to take down whoever “The Beast” threw at him only to find himself face to face with the 3 time former NCW Tag Team Champion.
- During intermission, Michael Tootsie Esquire came out for autographs, offering a discounted bargain of $20 per autograph. An angry Steve “The Turtle” Weiner, still looking to take back the Season Cup trophy MTE stole in Riverside, promised to eliminate MTE in the Rumble as well as regain what is rightfully his- The Season Cup!
- Richard Pacifico d. “The Knight Angel” BerZerker with the ‘cobra clutch slam’. Before the match began the referees banned Rezner and “The Monster” Cenobite & Valkyrie from ringside, trying to restore some semblance of order. Pacifico dominated the Heaven’s Fury member, and continued the assault following the match as Brandon Rezner returned to ringside to assist. Rezner (and security) kept Cenobite at bay while Pacifico laid waste to the BerZerker, destroying him with 6 vicious chair shots. Cenobite was finally joined by William Throne, Eddie Loomis, & John Munroe as they chased Pacifico & Rezner from ringside.
A tormented Cenobite then challenged Pacifico to finish what’s been started, and offered him the chance to battle him once more in the Boston Massacre Match, a sequel to their epic 2008 brawl. A smirking Pacifico eagerly agreed, with the match being set for November 19th in Dedham at WrestleFest VII.
- “Dynamite” Doug Summers d. Buddy Romano in the Best of 7 Series, finally defeating his rival after a grueling battle. Following the match, Summers tried to give Romano a show of respect until Buddy returned the favor by low blowing “Dynamite”, and stealing back his $2000.
- David Marxxx-Loomis and Eddie Loomis went to a No Contest when the NCW New England Champion “The Showoff” Mike Paiva and “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger came out of nowhere to attack the younger Loomis, with each man taking their shots on the 2010 Rookie of the Year. JC Marxxx then emerged, talking about the plan that was started back in February for his son David. JC promised that tonight the NCW Heavyweight Championship would be coming back ‘home’.
- In the NCW 2011 Big City Rumble, Buddy Romano eliminated “The Antisocial Anarchist” Tim Kilgore after David Marxxx-Loomis and “The Showoff” Mike Paiva assisted Romano in the elimination. Kilgore, throwing a vicious clothesline that catapulted both men over the top, caught himself on the ring apron as Buddy tumbled out of the ring. Loomis then quickly caught Romano, while Paiva swooped Kilgore’s legs out from under him causing the elimination. An incensed Kilgore had to be held back by officials while his dreams of retiring as Champion faded away.
