-Main Event the Luck of the Draw Random Lottery for the NCW Heavyweight Championship-

At NCW Summer Meltdown the three time NCW Heavyweight Champion “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello will be defending his Heavyweight Title to face an unknown challenger in Foxboro, MA with the 2011 Luck of the Draw Lottery, in which a contender will be drawn at random to face Batello in the Main Event.

The first Luck of the Draw Lottery took place back in 2008 at NCW HEATWAVE, when then-NCW Champion “Dynamite” Doug Summers and David Loomis each competed in Luck of the Draw Matches, as the two had been feuding over Doug’s Heavyweight Championship. Summers defended the NCW Title against Evan “Hawkeye” Hunter [“Royalty” William King] in the night’s Main Event, while Loomis wrestled in a #1 Contenders Match against Rob the Giant. After defeating Giant to become the #1 Contender again, Loomis and manager JC Marxxx returned to the ring following Summers’ match, stating that they would be utilizing David’s Title Match right then and there. A fatigued Summers was unable to defend himself for long, leading to Loomis hitting his backdriver Suplex to win his first Heavyweight Title.

The Luck of the Draw returned last year at Summer Meltdown, as David Marxxx-Loomis selected his random opponent for the night—his long time rival and former NCW Heavyweight Champion Dean “The Beast” Livsley. Though Loomis cheated his way to victory that night in Foxboro against “The Beast”, this Luck of the Draw Match had set Livsley on his path to challenge David one final time that October, in what would be Dean’s last match in NCW when he put his career on the line against David’s Championship.

With Dean now the Commissioner of NCW, Livsley has opted to bring the Luck of the Draw back to Summer Meltdown, understanding that it gives everyone on the roster, from Cam Denile to Scotty Vegas to Steve “The Turtle” Weiner an opportunity to wrestle for the Heavyweight Title.

-NCW Tag Team Championship Match-
© Destruction Under Impact [“The Riot” Kellan Thomas & “Impact” William Thorne] vs. The Granite State Wrecking Crew [“The Unequaled One” Todd Sople & “The Granite State Destroyer” Gunnar Rowe]

It was a rough night for “Impact” William Thorne at NCW Payback, as his tag team partner Kellan Thomas was unable to compete due to a family emergency. Their scheduled opponents had other plans however, as The Granite State Wrecking Crew arrived on the scene looking for a fight whether the Titles were on the line or not. Before Thorne could be jumped Project: Lethal’s Kevin Cordeiro ran into the ring to even the odds, offering himself to team with Thorne since his partner was out of the building as well.

but on July 22nd he and his tag team partner “The RIOT” Kellan Thomas reunite to make their first Tag Team Championship defense against the dominant duo of “The Unequaled One” Todd Sople & “The Granite State Destroyer” Gunnar Rowe– The Granite State Wrecking Crew. After winning the Tag Team Titles at Spring Slam, can DUI live up to the lofty expectations set by Generation SLAM? We’ll find out at Summer Meltdown.

-Best of 7 Series Match #6-
Buddy Romano vs. “Dynamite” Doug Summers

NCW Summer Meltdown will feature the 6th match in the Best of 7 Series between “Dynamite” Doug Summers and Buddy Romano, with Romano looking for it it to be the final match in the Series, with Buddy currently leading the Series 3-2 after forcing Summers to tap out in Dedham. With Romano’s $2000 on the line, you better believe he will be pulling out all the stops in Foxboro July 22nd, but more so due to his burning desire to have Doug Summers admit that he is the better wrestler of the two.

-NCW New England Champion “The Showoff” Mike Paiva’s Championship Celebration-

On July 18th, 2009 “The Showoff” Mike Paiva won the NCW New England Championship in North Smithfield, RI, shocking everyone when “The Sultan of Sleaze” utilized his #1 Contenders Championship Match on the New England Title instead of the Heavyweight Title as expected. Since then Paiva has embarked on a tumultuous two year reign as New England Champion, defying all odds and hanging onto his Championship no matter the cost. July 22nd in Foxboro, Paiva celebrates his accomplishment as the longest reigning Champion in NCW history in style, with a very special celebration as only “The Showoff” can give.

Heaven’s Fury [“The Monster” Cenobite & “The Knight Angel” BerZerker] w/ Valkyrie vs. The Hellraisers [Pacifico & Scovill]

After months of turmoil Heaven’s Fury was finally reunited at NCW Payback, with “The Monster” Cenobite returning from his exile to save “The Knight Angel” BerZerker and the young camera girl Amanda, now known as Valkyrie. At Summer Meltdown Heaven’s Fury look to get revenge on the ones who attacked them, as the sadistic Richard Pacifico has revealed himself as the assailant, along with his “muscle”, the intimidating Brandon Scovill.

The X-Factor in this match is of course “The Devil’s Reject” Brandon Webb, who watched from afar the events that unfolded at Payback, and while didn’t necessarily have anything to do with the attack, seems to have a vested interest in the outcome.

-I Quit Match-
“The Maniacal” Jack Krueger vs. Cam Denile

After deceiving Cam Denile at Payback, and forcing him to leave Dedham to check on his family and newborn sons, “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger will have nowhere to run when Cam returns at Summer Meltdown to teach Krueger a lesson in humility the only way he knows how, by beating it into him. Commissioner Livsley has set this match up to be an I Quit Match, adding a whole new element to the rivalry of the former Schillar Park Posse members July 22nd in Foxboro.

“Simply the Best” GA West and “The Juice” JT Dunn nearly stole the show at Payback, entertaining the fans with a great, high impact match up. Dunn got the victory after a hurricanrana, and a dejected West blindsided JT following the match, shocked over the upset win. Immediately remorseful for his actions, West has promised to make amends for his crimes at Summer Meltdown, extending the olive branch to Dunn.

Plus the 2010 NCW Rookie of the Year Eddie Loomis, Project: Lethal [Rob the Giant & Kevin Cordeiro], “The Antisocial Anarchist” Tim Kilgore, Taka Suzuki, “The Devil’s Reject” Brandon Webb, and much more…
