-Main Event Champion vs. Champion-
“The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello vs. “The Showoff” Mike Paiva

When it comes to the storied rivalry between “The Showoff” Mike Paiva and “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello, NCW Payback finds itself an integral part of this tale, with the June classic hosting some of the most memorable moments in their epic feud. June 17th at Payback 2011 another moment will go down in the history books when the three time Heavyweight Champion Ruy Batello collides with the reigning New England Champion Mike Paiva in the nights Main Event.

Paiva has found himself entangled in a competitive feud with the NCW 2010 Rookie of the Year Eddie Loomis over the last month, with the younger Loomis nearly getting the better of Paiva at every turn, only to have the cagey veteran cheat his way to victory. Batello has been riding high as Heavyweight Champion since the beginning of the 2011 Season, only to be brutally attacked by “The Antisocial Anarchist” Tim Kilgore following his victory over MTE at Spring Slam.

With both Champions in flux, this bragging rights match at Payback will be an important one for the victor heading into the remainder of the Season.

-NCW Tag Team Championship Match-

It’s all in the chase. But what happens when the chase is over? For the new NCW Tag Team Champions Destruction Under Impact, the chase was only the beginning and their win over Generation SLAM at Spring Slam was just the first chapter in their NCW story.

June 17th at NCW Payback the next chapter begins for DUI when they make their first defense as Tag Team Champions, taking the challenge of “The Unequaled One” Todd Sople and Gunar Rowe—The Granite State Wrecking Crew. Sople & Rowe joined forces together during NCW’s REUNION weekend, and even picked up a huge win over Generation SLAM & William Thorne at Aftermath. Can they build off of that momentum to upset DUI’s plans? Not if the Champs have anything to say about it.

-Best of 7 Series Match #5-
Buddy Romano vs. “Dynamite” Doug Summers

With his own $2000 on the line, this Best of 7 Series between Buddy Romano and the former NCW Heavyweight Champion Doug Summers has seen both men pull out all the stops, with Romano tying the Series up in West Warwick at Spring Slam. At NCW Payback both Summers and Romano jockey for position in this crucial match up, where the winner will walk into NCW Summer Meltdown (July 22nd in Foxboro, MA) with the ability to close out and win the whole Series.

-Southie Strap Match-
“The Maniacal” Jack Krueger vs. Cam Denile

The last time NCW was in Dedham the Schillar Park Posse imploded, with the maniacal Jack Krueger taking his frustrations out on Dale Denile following their tag loss in the Tag Team Invitational, while then Cam Denile after Cam’s NCW Championship Match against Ruy Batello. At NCW Aftermath Krueger once again got the better of the lone Denile brother when he utilized his trusty steel chair to implant Cam once more, winning their No Disqualifications Match.

Despite their best efforts at Spring Slam, Denile & Eddie Loomis once again came up short against Mike Paiva & Krueger, with Krueger taking Cam out of the equation once more. Having had enough of the hit and run style of these attacks, Cam has challenged Krueger to a Southie Strap Match June 17th in Dedham, binding the two together and unleashing all the pain possible when Payback comes back to the Jacob Jones VFW Post.

“The Antisocial Anarchist” Tim Kilgore vs. Triplelicious

Despite coming up short against Triplelicious in West Warwick, “The Antisocial Anarchist” made a huge impression at NCW Spring Slam, blindsiding the Heavyweight Champion Ruy Batello and nearly taking him out of action with a double stomp off the top rope. Kilgore was stopped however by Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley, wanting to know why Kilgore would plan such a vile assault.

Kilgore blamed Dean himself, stating that all he wanted was a Title Match against the Champion, an opportunity to prove himself to be the very best before retiring from active competition. Kilgore lost a Title Match to then-Champion Doug Summers at the 11 year REUNION event; with the stipulation being if he lost he would never wrestle for the NCW Heavyweight Title again. Knowing this, Kilgore watched one of his inspirations in wrestling Chris Venom retire at the 14 year REUNION, and realized he didn’t want a send off like Venom, Dean, and many others have had in the past. All he wanted was one more chance at wrestling for the gold.

“The Antisocial Anarchist” then said he would go through the entire roster if necessary, in an effort to ‘prove himself worthy’ and get that Title Match. Preemptively stating that it wasn’t personal to Batello, he did note that it would be sweeter than anything than to defeat the man who beat HIM for the NCW Championship back in 2002—“The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello.

Livsley has scheduled a rematch from Spring Slam June 17th at Payback, giving Kilgore another opportunity to wrestle the four time former NCW Champion Triplelicious, this time looking for a different outcome.

“The Knight Angel” BerZerker vs. “The Devils Reject” Brandon Webb

While The BerZerker has been searching throughout the NCW locker room for who was behind “The Monster” Cenobite’s attack and disappearance, “The Knight Angel” himself was jumped at NCW Spring Slam, leaving him unable to compete against “The Devils Reject” Brandon Webb and forcing Richard Pacifico to step in for his old friend. Though Pacifico lost to Webb in West Warwick, Richard confronted Webb following their match, interrogating “The Devils Reject” and accusing him of not only attacking his former rival Cenobite but now BerZerker as well.

Webb stated that he had nothing to do with the attack on Heaven’s Fury, leaving Pacifico even more confused over what’s been happening the last few months. At Payback The BerZerker WILL be in the house, and will be looking to finally get the answers he’s been looking for when NCW returns to Dedham.

PLUS NCW 2010 Season Cup Winner Steve “The Turtle” Weiner, Scotty “By GOD” Vegas, Michael Tootsie Esquire, NCW 2010 Rookie of the Year Eddie Loomis, Richard Pacifico, Project: Lethal [Rob the Giant & Kevin Cordeiro], and much more!
