Simply the Best in NCW

It was a chaotic situation August 14th, when the four time former NCW Champion Triplelicious lost his cool following his elimination from the Big City Rumble Match. Earlier in the night Trip lost an incredibly close encounter with “The Showoff” Mike Paiva, only losing the Match due to an errant Title shot to the head by referee Zach Carter [Carter was trying to pull the Championship belt away from Paiva, and accidentally walloped Trip in the head]. After the match, a dejected Trip was heading to the back when a voice from his past continued to heckle his performance.

This voice was coming from none other than GA West, the former Osirus, who had arrived at the Big City Rumble as a guest of NCW promoters. West was one of New England wrestling’s hottest prospects back in 2005, dominating the local scene until he walked away from the sport in 2007 to pursue a modeling and acting career. Dubbing himself “Simply the Best” GA West, West had expressed interest in rejoining the NCW ranks earlier this Summer, and was invited by Officials to check out the show before signing a new contract.

It was never a part of the deal to harass the talent however, and many believe West still has ill feelings toward Triplelicious dating back to West’s debut with NCW five years ago at the 2005 Rumble, where both men competed against each other. Once Trip was eliminated from the 2010 version of the Rumble, West once again began berating the Crooklyn native, with GA attempting to slap Trip. Finally having enough, Trip jumped over the guardrail to attack West, brawling all over the crowd as Officials tried to break up the fracas. GA was asked to leave the building, while Trip was fined $200 for laying his hand on a ticket holder.

In the days following the Rumble, NCW Officials announced that “Simply the Best” GA West had signed an NCW contract, and would be bringing his form of entertainment back to the squared circle once again. Being the star he is (or at least thinks he is), there were some provisions in his updated contract. TheNCWOnline.com has been able to attain a copy of West’s contract, with a few interesting tidbits highlighted below;

  • Mr. West will receive full accommodations for himself, his Agent, and his entourage at all NCW events including a private locker room separate from Northeast Championship Wrestling talent.
  • By signing this contract Mr. West will be guaranteed a Heavyweight Championship Match with the NCW Heavyweight Champion, whomever it may be, within the first twelve months of his contract. If he does not receive his Title Match within the allotted time his contract will become null-in-void and paid in full, allowing Mr. West to take his considerable talents elsewhere.
  • After the traumatic and unprovoked attack by Heriberto Heredia [Triplelicious] August 14th in West Warwick, Rhode Island the conditions of Mr. West signing his Northeast Championship Wrestling contract includes a formal apology from Heredia September the 17th, two thousand and ten.

With GA scheduled to have his first official appearance back with NCW  September 17th, will Triplelicious “do the right thing” and apologize for what happened at The Big City Rumble? We’ll find out in Riverside come FALLOUT.
